Hand carved by recently deceased amateur sculptor R.Clapp.

c.1970

R. Clapp produced many modern style carvings mainly busts and animals purely for his own pleasure. He kept his collection in his garden in the Lake District.

We also have two other pieces (female busts) of his work.
