A very appealing terracotta sculpture (French 1908) of three puppies modeled looking slightly apprehensively at a snail crawling towards them by the well listed French artist Georges Vacossin.

Various examples of this model were made, also in marble, with variations as to the type of reptile that is worrying the pups.

Signed by the artist and dated 1908 and in very good condition.
