An impressive and unusual depiction of a majestic lion in terracotta 'blanche' licking his paw by the well listed Italian artist Antonio Amorgasti (1880 - 1942).

In very good condition with a rich dark aged patina and set upon an integral rocky base.

Artist signed Ant Amorgasti and marked Depose & 'P' on the underside.
