A Very attractive example of Art Nouveau sculpture and a stunning bronze by L Gossin (1846-1928).

A bronze sculpture of Mignon, the main character of the French opera by Ambroise Thomas of 1866.

Beautifully detailed she clutches a mandolin and dates from the lats 19thC.

Marked Mignon inside the base with a rich yellow/gold patina overall.
