An appealing bronze sculpture of a beautiful reclining setter on a naturalistic base with a rich brown patina.

Very finely detailed and in excellent condition.

Inscribed on base \\\\\\\"C.Masson\\\\\\\" - who lived between 1838 and 1913.

Also inscribed \\\\\\\"Salon des Beaux Arts\\\\\\\" indicating that this model was exhibited at the Paris Salon and was sold during or immediately after the exhibition.
